ADAMAWA: Afraimu takes over as Attorney General

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Wednesday sworn-in the new Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Adamawa, Barrister Afraimu Jingi in a ceremony held at the Council Chamber Government House, Yola.
Afraimu was sworn in along with the members of the Adamawa Judicial Service Commission, comprising of Abubakar Musa Pariya, Suleiman Musa, Ambrose Mamadi and Christy Dennis Goje.
Having congratulated the Attorney General and members of the Judicial Service Commission for their well deserved appointments, Fintiri reminded them that the present administration has the mission to rescue the people of Adamawa State, where he charged them to be committed in their new offices in that regard for attainment of set targets.
Fintiri revealed that Judiciary was one of the priorities of his administration that would get the necessary attention it deserved. He urged those sworn in to ensure speedy dispensation of Justice in the state for the benefit of the common man.
In the acceptance speech on behalf of those sworn in, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Barrister Afraimu Jingi thanked Governor Fintiri for the confidence reposed in them and promised to reciprocate the gesture with diligence and dedication to duty.
The Attorney General reiterated that they would remain loyal to the Governor with a view to ensuring success of his eleven point agenda targeting the masses in Adamawa.
The oath of office and allegiance was administered on the Attorney General by Chief Justice of Adamawa Justice Ishaya Kida Banu, while that of members of the Judicial Service Commission was conducted by the Commissioner for Justice Barrister Araimu Jingi.
