overnor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari and the family of late Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari who died on Friday.
In a press release Saturday, signed by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, Fintiri described Kyari’s death as a great loss to the nation
“It is with great sadness that I learned of the demise of your Chief of Staff Abba Kyari. On behalf of all Adamawa people, I send our deepest condolences to Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari, family and the Presidency at this difficult time.
“We mourn with you and celebrate the extraordinary life of this remarkable man who devoted his life to the service of the nation,” Fintiri said.
The Adamawa governor said that Nigeria owed a debt to Kyari’s patriotism and must be remembered for his courage, unselfishness and devotion to duty that has sustained the country through all its trials, describing him as a powerful force for peace and democracy.
The governor prayed for “Allah SWT to forgive his imperfections and reward his good deeds.
May Allah SWT repose his soul in perfect peace and comfort his family.”
