The management of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Yola, Adamawa state, following the directive of the federal government, had announced the enforcement of “No Face Mask No Entry’ directive.
In a press release issued Sunday, by the head of information and media relation, Adamu Muhammad Dodo, the management of the hospital said the enforcement was based on the directive by the federal government to the effect of mandatory wearing of face mask in public.
“The No Face Mask No Entry to FMC Yola will take effect from Monday, May 4, 2020.
“The measure has become necessary to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus in the stste. The management regrets any inconvenience the action may cause,” Dodo said.
The management of FMC Yola has called on the members of the public to comply with the directive, to observe social distancing and regular washing of hands with soap and clean water; hand sanitizers can also be used where there is no water.
