Guyuk communal crisis, Adamawa Govt sets up 7-man panel of investigation

The Adamawa state government  has constituted a 7-man special administrative panel to investigate the recent communal crisis in the communities of Guyuk Local Government area of the state.

The press release Tuesday, signed by the Director Media and Communications to the Governor, Mr Solomon Kumangar revealed that the constituted panel has General Harrison Dzarma (Rtd) as the chairman with the following members:

Archbishop (Dr) Musa Panti Filibus, President Lutheran World Federation.

Bishop Dami Stephen Msmza, CAN Chairman.

Alhaji Gambo Jika Chairman Muslim Council

Imam Bappare Kem

Pastor Emmanuel Kwagherga.

Polycarp Ayuba, Permanent Secretary, security serves as the Secretary of the panel.

Though there was no time frame, the panel, as terms of reference, is to investigate the recent crisis between the Lunguda and Waja communities in Dumba district and the entire Guyuk Local Government of the state.
