Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM), adapting to the new normal, would hold its 28th Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) programme, investiture of fellowship and induction of new members in Yola, Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria.
The press release Thursday, issued by the Secretary of the Institute and Registrar of the Council,
Mr. Danjuma Sukana Tusha revealed that the Governing Council of IBDFM has today being Thursday, August 13, 2020, “decided that the 28th MCPD Programme, Investiture of Fellowship and Induction of New Members of the Institute will hold on Saturday, 3rd October, 2020 at Lamido Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa Hall, College of Nursing and Midwifery, Yola, Adamawa State.”
The Council communication explained that the event with the theme: “Developing Strategic Thinking for Organizational Effectiveness” would feature the President and Chairman of Council of the Institute, Prof. A. A. Aminu as the Keynote Speaker.
Prof. Aminu would also “confer the prestigious Fellowship Award of the Institute on some distinguished and eminent personalities, chosen based on an outstanding and sustained demonstration of top-ranking competence, exceptional achievements, high level of professionalism, consummate integrity as well as competent diplomatic management, administrative and leadership skills”.
There woukd also be induction of new members into the Senior, Full, Associate and Graduate Membership cadres of the Institute.
“In order to achieve a well-organised and hitch-free occasion, the Governing Council of the Institute has appointed two of its Governing Council Members and Pioneer Fellows of the Institute, Dr. Muhammad Adamu Dodo and Ambassador Suleiman Babale Jibril as Chairman and Deputy Chairman, Local Organizing Committee (LOC) respectively.

“The Governing Council of the Institute has directed the Chairman LOC, Dr. Muhammad Adamu Dodo to ensure that infrared thermometers for temperature checks, running water and soap/alcohol-based hand sanitizers are made available at the venue of the programme even as social distancing will be strictly observed in order to nip the coronavirus in the bud.
