By Adamu Muhammad Dodo

Prof. John Campbell former US Ambassador presently, with the Council on Foreign Relations, who visited 35 out of 36 states of Nigeria, revealed in his book titled: “Nigeria: What Everybody Needs to Know,” that President Muhammadu Buhari, in reality, won the 2003, 2007 and 2011 presidential elections but was defeated by his opponents’ rigging efforts, not so much at the polling units but at the collation centres.

Campbell has seen in Buhari, a man who is committed to fighting corruption at its highest level, which was challenging and that which must be a continued one to be able to succeed.

Campbell equally commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment in waging a war against insurgency.

However, Campbell expressed his worry over resurgence of Boko Haram attacks in part of the north east Nigeria. Especially, with Albanawi terrorists faction of the Boko Haram.
