MAUTech gets new VC

Prof Abdullahi Liman Tukur, is appointed Friday, as the new Vice Chancellor, Modibbo Adamawa University of Technology, MAUTech Yola, Nigeria, following the expiration of tenure of Prof Kyari Mohamed.

Until his appointment, Prof. Tukur was the Director Distance Learning Programme run by MAUTech, Yola.

Staff and students of the Distance Learning Programme described Prof
Tukur as an achiever, erudite scholar and indefatigable leader who fine tuned the fortune of the programme by perfecting the facilitator – students online contact initiative and ensuring that the academic session did not go beyond it’s stipulated calendar.

Dr. Abdullahi Bashir the coordinator of the Distance Learning Programme simply described Prof. Liman Tukur as “my amiable boss.”

Dr. Bashir with facilitators at the Distance Learning, congratulated their Director over his new appointment as the Vice Chancellor

Prof. Tukur will serve for the period of five years.
