Katsina: Kidnappers abduct President Buhari ADC’s father in-law
Kidnappers on Wednesday night abducted the Magajin Garin Daura, Musa Umar, in his Daura residence.
Magajin Gari, a retired customs comptroller, was abducted after observing Magrib prayer.
The traditional ruler is the father of Fatima Musa, wife of Colonel Mohammed Abubakar, the Aide de Camp, ADC, to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr Musa’s wife, Hajiya Bilki, is also the daughter of Mr Buhari’s elder sister, Hajiya Amadodo.
The kidnappers were said to have shot sporadically to disperse crowd before whisking away the traditional ruler in a Peugeot 406.
After the abductors left, the Daura council chairman Abba Mato and hundreds of sympathisers rushed to Umar’s residence, to discuss the bewildering incident.
