In spite of the warning, Idi Wakili Usman a man whom court restrained against parading himself as district head of Maiha, insisted that he would make a show by leading the faithfuls to the Eid El-Fitr prayer, Tuesday in Maiha.

Idi was credited to be issuing a statement, as district head, inviting people to rally round him to “fitna” the fitr with violence, as some of the faithfuls would interpret the invitation.

The Periscope crime reporters stationed in Maiha and in Yola, would reveal that having heard about the presence of an impostor to the throne; parading himself as district head of Jalingo-Maiha, they reported to the relevant authority, the imminent threat to peace the development, if left unchecked, would portend.

The Divisional Police Officer stationed in Maiha, was said to have recommended for the formal compilation, of the impostor’s threat to peace for being arrogant against justice.

Earlier, the state security service officer, stationed in Maiha was said to have compiled a comprehensive security report, which was submitted to the DSS office in Yola. The report exposed security flashpoints. The presence of Idi in Maiha for Eid El-Fitr festivities, while in romance with the contempt of court was an issue of great concern.

The SSS officer, stationed in Maiha, was said to have further intimated the DSS in Yola, the intended activities of Idi on Eid El-Fitr day that could degenerate into fitna in holy month.

The DSS, the Periscope eavesdropper would report, without any waste of time, forwarded the security report to HE governor Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state.

The Adamawa state Governor, was said to have, at that instant, called on HRH the Emir of Mubi whom the impostor equally disregarded, for having a godfather in the former governor, typifying the license for mischief against peace, mutual coexistence, religion and cultural heritage, to issue a warning to the impostor against notoriety.

“This is the era of peaceful coexistence in and atmosphere of unity after the electioneering atmosphere. I can’t tolerate any threat to peace. Tell the impostor that he’s not, therefore, he should stop parading himself as a district head.

“Tell him not to allow any ego to hypnotise him into appearing at Eid ground on Eid El-Fitr day in Jalingo-Maiha district, because, the day is not meant for fitna,” Fintiri would seem to be warning.

Having gotten wind of the development, group of faithful youth in Maiha, yelled out that “Fintiri has made our Eid El-Fitr day without fitna as much as the ATM machines have since resumed the ‘Fintiri’ onomatopoeia. What a fresh air without the nanayes!”

Should the impostor acts the arrogant script Tuesday in Maiha, in Hillux to Yola for an answer, would be the hallelujah.

“We’re now getting a restoration of public confidence in governance with the rapid response against peace and unity in our community,” the youth in Jalingo-Maiha remarked.
