Adamawa in mourning: Monarchs, ex governors, lawmakers, others condole gov Fintiri over Father’s death

Adamawa state is in Sunday mourning. Former governors Admiral Murtala Hammanyero Nyako and Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow with the lawmakers condoled governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over the death of his octogenarian father Alhaji Umaru Badami
In a press statement issued by the Director General, Media and Communications to the governor Mr Solomon Kumangar and made available to Newsmen, Alhaji Umaru Badami, died at the Federal Medical Center Yola at about 2:30 pm
Kumangar said the 82 years old Badami was an ex serviceman who retired from the Nigerian Army in 1984.
Funeral prayer was observed immediately after Asr prayer at Lamido’s Palace Yola, Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria.
May Allah SWT forgive the weaknesses of Alhaji Umaru Badami, reward his good deeds and grant him perfect peace in Jannatul Firdaus.
May Allah SWT bless the family he has left behind and grant them fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
