NEON communiqué commiserates with Fintiri, commends northeast governors over security education, healthcare
The North East Online Network; a regional online publishers’ association that is aimed at rebranding the online reportage particularly, in the northeast Nigeria, currently battling with the issue of insecurity, disrespectful and unprofessional media mediation, particularly as relates to the digital divided new media.
The NEON meeting held on Saturday August 10, 2019 in Yola, Adamawa State, commiserated with the people and government of Adamawa over the death of the father of His Excellency Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri the governor of Adamawa State.
NEON in session commends the governments in the northeast for addressing security challenges and particularly the governor’s of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states for working on a project that is aimed at getting education and healthcare out of the maze by also improving civil service with motivation schemes.
NEON in session appreciates the support of His Excellency Mai Mala Buni the governor of Yobe state for the NEON’s conference.

NEON in session considers collaboration, constant capacity development, professional and public enlightenment on the use to which online media can be put to ensure effective and efficient media relations against hate speeches, social media gossips taken for news and subjectivity, through lectures, worships and seminars.
