Two adults, seeming diabolical, uncanny, confessed homosexual rapistss, are reported to be cooling at the Criminal Investigation Department CID, Adamawa State Police command Yola, Northeast Nigeria, for turning some minors they allegedly hypnotised, into their lovers.
The homosexual rapists Abdullahi and Abdurrahman, are reported to have attempted luring their unsuspecting victims with hardly to be accomplished promises of juicy and luxury things; delicious meals, clothing and handsets among other provisions.
Having declined all advances, the homosexual rapists were alleged to have gone diabolical; deploying the services of charms to disarm the resistance, threatening the survivors also that should they let anyone knew anything about their activities, something uncanny would be visited on them.
The homosexual rapists were arrested following the courage of a cousin of one of the survivors who would not want to have the calamity that claimed Sodom and Gomorrah, visited on his community, fearing that it would be a catapulted catastrophy, reported the matter to the Adamawa Coalition Against Rape ACAR in Yola.
ACAR is a coalition of Civil Society Organisations, the Faith Based Organisations and the media mediators.
ACAR’s radical activities that are specifically tough on all kinds of rape cases, came to the public glare when it staged a morning march, some months previously, against the agency; rape and the agents; rapists, governor Fintiri described as nothing other than “cultists never to be spared”, to press their demands before the state governor, the state lawmakers, the commissioner of Police, the ministry of justice and the chief judge of the state, urging for proactively stiffer penalty as a means to ending the monstrous menace.
This and the aggressive enlightenment campaign against rape through the media, have attracted to the ACAR, people’s confidence to report rape they see, thereby defeating the conspiracy of silence.
The ACAR’s intervention has led the survivors to the Hope Centre at the specialist hospital Yola for observation and treatment and to the arrest of the alleged homosexual rapists for further investigation and possible prosecution.
The homosexual rapists have confessed to committing the crimes, which resulted in the police to commence full investigation to unravel the circumstances behind the assailants’ involvement in the act considered as taboo in the land.
Efforts to speak to Police Public Relations Officer, Adamawa state Police Command DSP Suleiman Yahya Nguroje on the matter before the press, proved abortive.
However, a competent police source on condition of anonymity, at the CID headquarters in Yola, confirmed the story to the Journalists investigating the case.
A source revealed to the Periscope, where Abdullahi, one of the assailants was arrested at Sokoto street in Yola ancient city that the area “is soaring higher with homosexual activities, resulting in the minors growing vulnerable daily. “Something has to be done about it, urgently too,” he cautioned.
Abdurrahman, the other homosexual rapists, was reported to be a rivertee to Islam and is in custody of a mosque as a guard man but “has taken to sinking the office he occupies in stinky homosexual sin; a spiritual insult against the new found faith he feigned to be professing.”
The ACAR media group said the story would be followed to its end.
