Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani has felicitated with President Muhammadu Buhari on his confirmation as the duly elected president by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Binani who is the senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone said that the Supreme Court ruling was a confirmation both of the perfect will of Allah SWT and a reflection of the choice of the people of Nigeria.
Th judgement Binani said, also reinforced the confidence the people have in the judicial system of the country.
“The ruling is a good development for the advancement of democracy in our nation, it portrays that Nigeria is still the giant of Africa.
“President Muhammadu Buhari is a transparent, accountable, competent and committed leader who is focused in taking Nigeria to the next level.” she added.
“President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory shows that in both 2015 and 2019 elections, the people overwhelmingly voted for him. Therefore, no amount of opposition can contest that mandate,” she said.
Binani has called on the opposition parties and Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity or religion to support the President on his mission of taking the country to greater enviable height.
