Sen Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed known as Binani, is a politician being elected Senator representing the central zone of Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria. However, Prof. Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu former VC FUT now MAUTech Yola, Prof. Abdullahi Liman Tukur present VC MAUTech Yola and Prof. Auwal Muhammad Abubakar MD FMC Yola are not politicians, hence academically inclined.

This worthy team is working out the talk, finding solutions to students, the Adamawa State, the northeast, the country and by extension the world.

The team seems unshakable and unintimidated untill the mission being set out to achieve is accomplished; Upgrading FMC Yola to a teaching hospital and establishing medical college in MAUTech Yola; to get to achieve these, conversion of the technology based to a conventional university can not be ruled out.

The bottom line is that Adamawa state and the northeast need more medical doctors, more graduates and postgraduates in different courses and more professionals in different fields and professions.

While the concerned citizens are being invited to support “the Bill for the establishment of Modibbo Adama University Yola 2019, proposed by Sen. Binani, set for “public hearing” at the Senate on Thursday 5th, December 2019, there is a protest letter, a seeming position paper by means of proposal, addressed to Mal. Adamu Adamu the Minister of Education, for the establishment of a federal university in Jada, southern senatorial zone of Adamawa state, to honour HE Dr. Atiku Abubakar the Waziri of Adamawa, against conventional using a university of technology.

No one can act on the letter other than Mal Adamu Adamu and only as a minister of education.

The proposal “can go for an articulated article if not embellished with a seeming political undertone as was literarily deconstructed.

The proposal argued that there has been a move and was speedily getting momentum, by some politicians from Adamawa state – who could not have been academically savvy to figure out the consequences of their action – for the conversation of the Modibbo Adama University of Technology MAUTECH Yola to a conventional university.

Whist the proposal did not oppose the timely need to have a medical college in MAUTECH Yola, undermining its technology base, would hyperbolically be taking the functional and innovative knowledge back to stone age, the letter would seem to observe.

MAUTech Yola would start admitting medical students in 2020 based on the arrengement made. When will the proposal for the Jada Federal University get to scale through and the school fully established for the teeming students whose parents will not want to have trapped in a web of insecurity on a risky journey for knowledge? A political commentator who read the piece asked.

Well, the Proposal is for Mal Adamu Adamu the minister’s consumption. What is opened for the public hearing that called for the academically inclined is the invitation for the support to “the Bill for the establishment of Modibbo Adama University Yola 2019, set for “public hearing” on Thursday 5th December 2019 in Senate Conference Room 231 by 11:00 am.

The invitation urged the public to honourably attend, to support the move for more programmes and services to Adamawa, the Northeast region and Nigeria.

“Getting the bill through, will mean reopening of the School of Management and Information Technology, mounting of new programs in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Humanities and Law,” among other faculties.

The chairman, committee for the review of the law establishing the university, Professor Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu, has earlier submitted report of his finding before the National University Commission prompting the commission to commence the process for the conversion, following a bill proposed by Sen. Aisha Dahiru Ahmed Binani

Ribadu had said that the conversion would enable the university to run programmes offered in other universities, especially medical courses to produce more doctors.

Prof. Abdullahi Liman Tukur the VC has earlier assured that MAUTech Yola has the capacity to run a medical college.

Already managerial science courses are being offered at MAUTech before the crisis of identity could set in.

Prof. Auwal Muhammad Abubakar the MD FMC Yola, has earlier revealed to the Periscope on the spot reporter that the health facility has since started postgraduate (residency) trainings having been scaled through accreditations of the West African College of Surgeons WACS, West African College of Physicians WACP and of recent, the Medical Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria NPMCN
