Lamido Adamawa Commissions Jummaat Mosque At Hajj Camp

HRH Lamido Adamawa Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdaf, Friday, commissioned a Jummaat Mosque at the Permanent Hajj camp Dou Waya, adjacent Yola International airport, Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria.

The Mosque was built by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON.

Represented by the Galadima Adamawa, Alhaji Aminu Mustapha, HRH the Lamido Adamawa has charged the appointed Imam to transform the mosque into an institution of Islamic teaching and practice, as an instrument of cohesion, peaceful coexistence and unity of the Ummah as an entity.

Prominent among the faithful that witnessed the commissioning ceremony are the representative of the chairman NAHCON, Alhaji Salihu Danjuma Usman, Chairman, Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Usman Aliyu Marafa and the Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Board, Mallam Abubakar Salihu as well as prominent community leaders and Ulamaas.

A faithful the Periscope interviewed was full of joy. He thanked Allah SWT for keeping his life to this day.

“May Allah SWT bless those who brought the idea of having a Jumuat Mosque here and for translating the dream to reality and HRH the Lamido Adamawa for commissioning the Jumuat Mosque.

“We’re community members. Hajj Camp activity is periodic. The community activity is constant to eternity. Therefore, we as members of the community around the Hajj Camp, are more beneficiaries of the Mosque than the pilgrims,’ a community faithful said.
