Monarchy In Maiha: Between Commissioner Of Police And Idi, Other Thugs

The Periscope reporter

The court hearing, holden at a Yola Criminal Court, of a case filed by the Commissioner of Police against Idi Wakili Usman Shehu with his riotous armed supporters slated for Thursday, February 6, was adjourned to February 12, 2020.

Idi’s arrant arrogance that led to his romance with the contempt of court and executive orders, allegedly resulted to his sponsoring armed and amulets thugs as supporters, to desecrate the Jalingo-Maiha district central Mosque and disrupt Friday prayer, causing harm; inflicting various degrees on injuries on the faithful, smashing people’s vehicles and breaking into people’s shops, intended for the peaceful community to degenerate into anarchy.

Idi was restrained by a court order from parading himself as district head of Jalingo-Maiha. However, backed by unlawful support, considered as conspiracy against the nobility in the monarchy and the peaceful by nature, ever united natives of the district, idi continued to work the unlawful script, signing in as impostor.

But for the security operatives in Jalingo-Maiha, the district would have been degenerated into a theatre of threatening anarchy, alleged to be initiated by the previous regime of tyranny against the community without any cause.

Currently on bail, facing criminal charges, Idi, against the court and executive orders, was said to be invited to attend a flagging off ceremony of road grading, on Wednesday, as a district head of Jalingo-Maiha Maiha.
