Hon Abdullahi Umar Yapak (APC) State House of Assembly Member, representing Verre Constituency, Fufore local government area, central senatorial district of Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria, raised a point of order, at a plenary Monday, calling the attention of the Hon. House Members of the mysterious fire outbreak that consumed some parts of his constituency praying for an emergency relief response.
The mysterious lnferno, Yapak revealed, vicited Masirkan Unit of Mayoine Ward to claim houses and properties.
“All efforts to ascertain its source and curtail the incidence proved abortive as it would just erupt and consume the entire house and the storage facility. As a result many houses were burnt to ashes and property worth millions of Naira destroyed,” lamented
Yapak said, the ugly incidence rendered the people of Masirkan homeless. Even those who’s houses are yet to be touched, could not stay inside for fear of being attacked as the go to sleep.
