Coronavirus: FG bars officials from foreign trips

The Federal Government has barred all government officials, including public and civil servants, from travelling abroad.

The Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus announced the decision after a closed-door meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, The PUNCH reports.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and chairman of the committee, Boss Mustapha, said the ban commenced immediately till further notice.

The Federal Government had raised a Presidential Task Force for the control of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

The SGF, while inaugurating the committee on Tuesday in Abuja, said it had six months to complete its assignment.

This is coming after the country confirmed the third case of Coronavirus.
