The Federal Teaching Hospital FTH Gombe has suspended services in Opthalmology, ENT, Surgical and Medical Out-Patient Clinics.
In a press release Wednesday, issued by the Director Information of the hospital, Malam Haruna Abdulrashid, the measures were taken following the continuous assessments of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic within the coverage of the health facility.
“In addition to the measures announced earlier, the hospital is constrained to implement the additional measures.
“Out-Patient with severe medical conditions, requiring urgent medical attention should come to Accident and Emergency A&E of the hospital.
“Members of the public are reminded to observe regular hand washing with soap and clean water or use of hand sanitizers where soap and water are not readily available.
“Members of the public should also observe social and physical distancing and personal hygiene,” the press release read in part.
