Hon. Hussaini Ahmadu Har, a diehard supporter of President Muhammad Buhari in Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria, has hammered hard on Mr. Stephen Maduwa, who is equally considered a diehard supporter of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state.
Har has by means of hit back, lambasted and lampooned Maduwa the current chairman, Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) Adamawa sate, over his statement in a broadcast media that President Buhari has done nothing to restore peace and security in Adamawa state.
Har reminded Maduwa that it was Buhari led government that restored peace and normalcy in many parts of the country, especially the northern senatorial zone of Adamawa state that was hitherto under the occupation of Boko Haram insurgents.
According to Har, the media interview has exposed how myopic an unintelligible the RIFAN chairman could politically be; lacking good sense of reasoning and forward looking thought.
Har articulated that farmers in RIFAN chairman’s community, were prior to 2015, not only made to stop farming but forced into refugee status.
“I’m not surprised if you know who is Stephen Maduwa and his callous character. His unsound utterances present him as a person lacking good courtesy, honour and respect.
“A person of good reputation cannot say such a thing.
“Some years ago, this same man couldn’t go to Michika, his home town because Boko Haram had overrun seven Local Government Areas of our state, taking total control of the area but now he regularly visits many communities canvassing support for his 2023 political agenda.
“If not shallow mentality, with the peace recorded by chasing the deadly Boko Haram insurgents away, who will say that President Buhari does not try in the area of security as far as Adamawa state is a concerned?” Har asked.
Har added that Maduwa has exposed himself as an ungrateful person; he was languishing in poverty and perpetual fear occasioned by insecurity, doing nothing for about five years before President Muhammadu Buhari created the enabling environment “he is currently feeding fat on.
“Madura has really proven to be ungrateful person; Buhari has given him a Job in RIFAN because of peace that returned to the entire Northern zone, for people to be empowered and returned back to farming activities.
“Without peace, there wouldn’t be anything like RIFAN that is putting food on Maduwa’s table,” Har said.
Har has called on Nigerians to pray for the President to achieve more in the economic and security among other salient sectors.
