IBDFM Decorates 3 Commissioners, 2 LG Chairs, Others As Fellow Members In Adamawa

Three commissioners and two local government chairmen were among the ten decorated with Fellow membership of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management IBDFM yesterday in Yola, Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria, during her 28th Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme, Investiture of Fellowship, and Induction Ceremony chaired by Prof Kaletapwa George Farauta who was equally conferred with the Fellow membership.

The three commissioners are:

Hon Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji – Commissioner of Land and Survey; a philanthropic politician who distinguishes himself with multiple commissioner experience.

Dr. Garba Umar – Commissioner for Information and Strategy, charged with the responsibility of planning, advising and implementing the state policies on information and strategy

Hon Bappa Dalhatu Isa – Commissioner Mineral Resources; currently working assiduously to translate the dream of having Guyuk Cement industry to reality.

The two local government chairmen who bag the IBDFM Fellow Membership are:

Dr. Idi Ali Aminu – Hon Chairman Maiha local government. Peace is an uncompromising treasure; a key to unity, coexistence, progress and development, the chairman believes that without security there can never be peace that is why he hosted international peace conference against insurgency, kidnapping and banditry between Nigeria and Cameroon border.

Hon Salihu Usman Malkohi – Chairman Yola South local government. A grassroots politician with cosmopolitan touchstone and the view to having the community enlightened and adequately represented

Other Fellow member inducted include:

Halilu Malabu – Special Adviser to Adamawa State Governor on Revenue and Banking, charged with the responsibility assist the state government in achieving economic development and revenue enhancement through the identification and development of new and/or improvement on the existing revenue generation system.

Mohammed Gidado Mohammed, Sarkin Dawaki Jimeta – Entrepreneur, politician and Founder MGM Foundation: A philanthropic NGO primarily established to address the challenges of the indigent in the community.

Murtala Mohammed Zubairu the Kadagimi of Hong and Council Member, Hong Traditional Council – Entrepreneur and Head of Department Recruitment and Training with the Local Government Service Commission, Yola as a substantive Director, Adamawa State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Adamawa State.

Abdulsalam Safiyanu – Managing Director Bizopex International Investment Comp Limited, responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and company policies; maintaining an open dialogue with relevant stakeholders and managing the company’s resources with prudence, driving it to success.

Having administered oath of allegiance, coordinated by Prof. Ibrahim Danjuma, a also Fellow member of the Institute, the inductees are drilled with the strategic thinking skills to get also to be in tune with the digital age.
