MCPD, Inductions: IBDFM Maintains, Abuja, Borno, Cross River Dates, Reschedules Others

Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management IBDFM maintains her post Covid-19 lockdown activities, scheduled for Abuja, Borno and Cross River State.

In a press release issued by the the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr. Sukana Danjuma Tusha, the Abuja Mandatory Continuing Professional Development MCPD programme, Investiture of Fellowship and Induction Ceremony would hold on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Lagos House, Central Business District, Abuja as scheduled.

The Borno state programme would also hold
on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID as scheduled.

Similarly, the Cross River programme would hold on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Calabar.

The states affected by the changes, the Registrar explained, are Gombe, Bauchi and Lagos.

The GOMBE state MCPD, programme earlier scheduled for October 10, will now hold on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Madugu Guest Palace Hotel, New GRA, Gombe.

The BAUCHI state programme earlier scheduled for Saturday, December 5, is now merged with the Gombe Programme to hold in Gombe state.

The Lagos programme, earlier scheduled for November 7, will now hold on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Centre For Management Development (CMD), Magodo.

The Registrar has called on the members of the Institute to note that “those who were certified on Saturday, July 25, 2020 without a formal induction ceremony are mandated to attend the programme, which is the 27th edition for them.

“While those who are to be newly inducted and certified on that day, will have theirs as the 29th edition. That’s why the programme is tagged 27th and 29th”.

Recall that the 28th edition was held on October 3, 2020 in Yola, Adamawa state; the first in the post Covid-19 lockdown programme.

The Registrar has called on the Fellow members of the Institute who have paid for the permanent professional fellowship gown and are resident in Abuja or neighbouring States of Nassarawa, Kaduna, Niger, Kogi etc, should endeavour to attend the MCPD Programme and be decorated with their permanent gowns.

“Such Fellows would however, like other members, pay the MCPD fees of N5,000. They should also send an SMS to the Registrar and Secretary to Council or Call him on 08030609634 at least one week to the programme to register their intention to attend so that adequate arrangement will be made for their decorations.

“All members who are due for upgrade from one professional membership grade to the other with the exception of Senior Members should also contact the Registrar immediately on the procedures for upgrade.

“Old members of the Institute who have not send their names and membership grades for registration and capturing in the programme book should do so immediately. Such details should be sent to the Institute’s Administrative Officer, Mr. Kazeem A. Ayanwoye via SMS on the phone number 08037285436.

“While MCPD fees of N5,000 can be paid till October 31, any details not received at least one week to the programme cannot be captured in the programme book.

“All Fellows who have paid for their gowns in Abuja or neighbouring states but will not be able to attend the programme should contact the Registrar immediately.

“All Fellows who have paid for their gowns in states other than the FCT or any of the neighbouring states should please choose from the following programmes for their decorations:

a. Gombe, Saturday, November 7, 2020
b. Maiduguri, November 14, 2020
c. Calabar, November 28, 2020
d. Lagos, December 5, 2020

“Submission of photos by Fellows dressed in their gowns will close on Monday, December 14, 2020. Thereafter the compendium of Fellows will be released”.
