Maiha Council Chair congratulates Adamawa journalists over Bala’s election as NAWOJ nat’l president

Chairman Maiha local government, Dr. Idi Ali Amin, who has recently received the year 2020 national award as the best chairman of the year on peace and security, has congratulated Adamawa journalists over Ladi Bala’s victory at the just concluded National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), elections, which was held in Minna, the Niger state capital over the weekend; saying that the women journalists have made the right choice.

Hon. Idi said Bala’s victory did not come as a surprise considering her wealth of experience not just as a journalist but also as a unionist.

Dr. Idi who is considered as the most media friendly council chairman said Bala has made record for bring the first in the state to be elected national president of NAWOJ. “Her record is a thing of pride. She has made us proud in the state.

“I’m using this medium to urge NAWOJ President Ladi Bala to run a participatory leadership in which every stakeholder is carried along.

“I’m also calling on the entire journalists not only NAWOJ members to give her maximum cooperation to be able to deliver good governance, as I pray for God’s guidance to see her through.
