Christmas: Maiha LG Chair Felicitates with Nigerians, Christians

The distinguished chairman Maiha local government, Dr. Idi Ali Aminu, Rumbun Adamawa has felicitated with Nigerians, particularly the Christians on the occasion of Christmas Celebration.

In a Christmas message Friday, through his SSA Media, Malam Abdulganiyyu Nuhu Pakka, the distinguished chairman described Christmas as a season of generosity, hope, joy, peace, love and mutual coexistence.

The Rumbun Adamawa has enjoined the people of Maiha local government, the people living in Adamawa state and indeed all Nigerians, irrespective of religious affiliation, to use this season and pray fervently for the LGA, the state and the country in general, amidst security and economic challenges among others.

The IBDFM Fellow member has advised Members to take responsibility in the second wave of Covid-19 by observing all the protocols laid down by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) so as to protect themselves and their families against the dreaded disease.

The LG chairman has on behalf of the local council members and people of Maiha local government, prayed Almighty Allah to make 2021 a better year for Nigeria and Nigerians

“Happy Christmas and prosperous new year to the Christian brothers and sisters.

“We have truly come a long way and we shall certainly tread more challenging paths together.

“As you celebrate the glorious birth of Jesus Christ, I pray that your celebration will be laced with conviviality, joy, contentment, elation and merriment.

“We pray for the strengthening of our bond of friendship, understanding, love, mutual respect cordiality and cooperation that we have been sharing over some few decades.

“Do have a wonderful and crisis free celebration,” The distinguished chairman remarked.
