The Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management, IBDFM has commended the Vice Chancellor, University of Maiduguri, Borno state, northeast Nigeria Prof. Aliyu Shugaba FBDFM, and the entire Governing Council of the University over the appointment of her President and Chairman of Council, Prof. A. A. Aminu, as the Director, University of Maiduguri Investment Centre.
IBDFM considered the appointment as a great expectation, a great feat, worthy of feasting, having her Chairman of Council to be the first university don to hold this prestigious office.
In a press release Monday, signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council of the Institute, Mr. Sukana Danjuma Tusha, IBDFM members celebrated the appointment. “To all of us at the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management, this can only be described as an end of the year gift from the Almighty God.
“We sincerely appreciate the Vice-Chancellor, University of Maiduguri, Prof. Aliyu Shugaba who is also a Fellow Member of the IBDFM and the entire Governing Council of the University for this well deserved appointment.
“We pray that the Almighty God will grant our President and Chairman of Council, Prof. A. A. Aminu, an authority in strategic planning, the requisite wisdom to take the UNIMAID Investment Centre to an enviable height”.
