The Periscope joins In Celebrating Danjuma’s Professorial Elevation

The management and staff of the Periscope Global Publishers have joined the celebration of the elevation of Ibrahim Danjuma PhD, of the Modibbo Adama University MAU Yola, to professorial cadre.

In a communication received a while ago, the Governing Council of Modibbo Adama University, MAU Yola, Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria, upon receipt of positive external assessment reports, has approved Danjuma’s elevation from Associate Professor, to Full Professor of Marketing, with effect from 1st October 2019.

Prof. Danjuma, having congratulated Adamawa state for the successful conversion of MAUTECH to MAU, which he said, has given the university the opportunity to introduce more courses by establishing arts and managerial departments, commended staff and management of MAU for support and cooperation, thanked all those behind his academic and intellectual successes.

Prof Danjuma has also solicited for prayers so that blessings of Allah SWT would continue to shower on his elevated position.

Prof Danjuma has been a marketing scholar for more than two decades. He has been teaching marketing and other managerial subjects since 1993 when he started at the Federal Polytechnic Mubi before joining the Federal University of Technology FUT Yola, the present Modibbo Adama University, MAU, Yola.

The university don has held so many positions of responsibility in the academic institutions. He served as Head of Department of Management Technology as well as the Deputy Dean with the the School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT), MAUTECH, now MAU Yola before joining Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru for his PhD in the year 2013.

Prof. Danjuma is a Fellow and resource person of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management IBDFM, and a member of Nigerian Institute of management NIM

Principles of Marketing was Prof Danjuma’s first published and widely read book. It was first published in 2003 when he was at Poly Mubi and was revised in 2009 after joining FUT Yola, now MAU Yola. The revised edition was encouraged by the Periscope’s lead publisher, Adamu Muhammad Dodo, then as the Editor-In-Chief of The Events Magazine.

Prof Danjuma has also published so many articles on marketing in national and international journals, in addition to other texts in purchasing management and entrepreneurship among others.
