Could the sadistic egomaniac mistress have been possessed by the demon, to be transformed into a ferocious, venomous cat whenever she would launch a deadly attack on her housemaid? Was she under a spell of some sort? How cool and costly cultist? Could she be into hard drugs, hard liquid or hard weed? Is she simply, as seemingly damned demented?
These were questions raised by teeming readers.
Answers could have been provided should the family members agrees to respond switching off the phones.
The alleged pompous sadistic egomaniac mistress, said to be intoxicated by affluence and influence, is currently under police net to have, by herself, provided the answers.
The Periscope, joining Freedom Radio yesterday, reported the ugly incident of a mistress, named Fatimah who heinously maltreated her teenage housemaid named Khadijah that led to the latter’s death, as was alleged, at Salanta ward, Sharada, Kano Municipal, Kano state, Nigeria, six days ago.
The savage mistress claimed that it was not her but a wild cat that ferociously attacked to kill her lovely housemaid.
The wives of the ward head, Alh. Magaji Garba Yahaya, who prepared the deceased for burial, revealed that there were old scars at the back of the deceased when they were washing her, suggestive of previous battery, the deceased was mercilessly subjected to.
Markai Shehu and Aisha Abdullahi were among the women who prepared the deceased for the funeral prayer. They ruled out the claim that the housemaid was ferociously attacked by a wild cat, as there were no wild cats in the neighborhood and the wounds sustained did not suggest scarry cat scar.
“There were old scars at late Khadijah’s back and some fresh wounds in her thigh, hands, chest and forehead”.
The late housemaid must have been hit repeatedly by something, club or a stronger bigger and heavier weapon, to have ruled out the scary wild cat story meant for a story by the moonlight.
The eyewitness was another housemaid (name withheld). She has earlier disclosed that it was her mistress who reduced her residence to housemaid house of horror, blood and death.
“My mistress and I returned in the evening. We found Khadijah shivering with fever. She pleaded that she was not feeling well and was unable to do household chores.
“The intolerant mistress would not take the excuse. She rained insults on, before ruining Khadijah’s life.
“She sent me to get her a pestle and asked me to bring one for myself to join in pounding Khadijah. I couldn’t bear it, so I left for kitchen.
“After pounding her, the mistress forcefully inserted sharp metal into Khadijah’s private part, which led her to bleed.
“The mistress directed me to bring hot grind pepper, which she applied into the private part of the wounded Khadijah, either to control the bleeding or to inflict more pains.
“After the heinous treatment, Khadijah was abandoned in pool of her pains. I was later to be sent to observe her condition,” the favoured teenage housemaid would articulate.
Khadijah, having lost any strength for breath, she was taken to a hospital in the morning to be pronounced dead.
Alh. Magaji Garba Yahaya, the Ward head of Salanta, has a while ago, revealed to the Periscope that they did not readily realised that the housemaid was assaulted to her death and that which could have involved her mistress, until when Freedom radio exposed the gory incident.
The ward head also said that they have no any information about the deceased; where she was brought from? Who were her parents?
A source has however revealed that Khadijah, the late housemaid was from Kwara state. She ventured into a housemaid job in Kano to be able to raise money for her marriage.
Hajiya Gaje ‘Yar Mulki was the lady who took Khadijah to the sadistic egomaniac mistress in the housemaid house of horror; blood and death.
‘Yar Mulki’s phone has been switched off. Several calls could not get to go through yesterday.
She is currently in police net. She could have revealed the origin of the deceased.
The Salanta ward head prayed that justice should take its course irrespective of the social status of the murdered and the murderer, as much as Okafor Komolafe John, the social critic would lament that if this criminality could go unchecked in Kano, there would be predators everywhere in the country.
The case has been transferred to Kano State Police Command in Bompai. Several phone calls were not picked today. However, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa Wednesday, revealed to the Freedom Radio reporter that Fatimah, the alleged sadistic egomaniac mistress who maltreated her housemaid to death was under the command’s custody.
“Thorough investigation is aggressively going on and it is almost through. Whoever is involved in the death of the housemaid will face the law without fear or favour,” Kiyawa said.
