Death of Ibrahim Abdulaziz, painful – Prof Pate

The vice chancellor, federal university Kashere, Professor Umar Pate, the first person to hold Kaigamma Adamawa traditional title, has expressed sadness over the demise of Ibrahim Abdulaziz.

Abdulaziz, one of the longest serving staff of Voice of America (VOA) covering Adamawa/Taraba States died on Friday in a fatal road crash near Alkaleri in Bauchi State.

A statement by the renowned professor of journalism read; “the death of Mal Ibrahim AbdulAziz is a very sad loss for all of us.

“He lived a worthy life crowned in professional commitment and excellent interpersonal relationship.

“We can only continue to pray for the repose of his gentle soul.

“May Allah SWT grant him eternal rest and give his family and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.

“We shall all miss him. I share the grief with you, all.”
