ADAMAWA: Wife Of Chief Of Staff, Daughter Receive Covid-19 Vaccine

The wife of Adamawa State Chief of Staff, Dr. Rose Maxwell Gidado on Thursday, 1st April 2021 alongside her daughter Lawyer Fatima Maxwell Gidado received the first Jab of the Oxford Astra- Zeneca Covid-19 vaccine at Malamre Healthcare Centre, Yola North local government Area.

Dr Gidado urged women to come out and get vaccinated as the vaccine is safe and efficacious. “People should discountenance the conspiracy theories surrounding the COVID vaccine”, she added.

“There is no gain saying that the vaccination will help the body develop antibodies that will fight the virus and thereby flattening the curve of the pandemic in Nigeria and the world at large. Her experience was hitch free with no pains uptill to the moment of this report.

Oxford Astra Zeneca was approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and NAFDAC. It is being used in so many countries with over 100 million doses of administration worldwide. She therefore encouraged everyone to go for the vaccine stressing that it is safe.
