The President and Chairman of Council, Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM), Professor Ayuba A. Aminu has felicitated with Members of the Institute, particularly the Muslims and Nigerians in general, for the successful completion of fasting in the holy month of Ramadhan and prayed Almighty Allah to accept all their prayers and sacrifices during the period.

The President and Chairman of Council in a statement personally signed by him and made available to the Press through the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Sukana D. Tusha, said “If Nigeria must overcome her current challenges, particularly on insecurity, then job creation must be on the front burner”.

Aminu who recently released a Book titled “Entrepreneurship Development: Creativity, Innovation and Talents” (published in 2021 by Varazdin Development and Entrepreneurship Agency, Varazdin, Croatia) in celebration of his thirty-four (34) years of teaching and research experience at the University level, blamed the current security situation in the country to the high rate of unemployment.

The University Don further added that the current economic and security challenges can be turned around by creating impressive employment opportunities for the teeming youth populace.

According to the Professor, “although the private sector is a major contributor to job creation, economic growth and development, the government must provide the enabling environment for businesses to thrive in terms of security, policies, good leadership and infrastructure”.

Aminu, urged IBDFM Members to be job creators via entrepreneurship, where he wished the Muslim Ummah a memorable Eid-el-Fitri

The University Don urged the Ummah to honour the directives of the constituted authority during the festive period as Covid-19 would also surreptitiously join in the celebration rather negatively.

He reminded the Ummah about the Covid-19 caution as a collective responsibility, urging them to celebrate responsibly and ib adherence to covid-19 regulations and protocols.
