…Say Safina is a shining star, an asset to the state’s success

Senator Ishaku Abbo, with the acronym SIA, representing Northern Senatorial Distinct of Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria, in the 9th National Assembly has commended the 21-year old Safina Shehu Ahmed for graduating with First Class Honours Degree in Biomedical Science, from Keele University, London.
The press release Saturday, issued by the media aid to the senator, Mr. Michael B. Bulgent, repoeted SIA as saying that “Safina is surely an asset to the state’s success as she has joined the list of Nigerian students abroad who make the country proud with outstanding academic performances and sound exemplary character”.
Safina, as SIA’s constituent, is an indigene of Maiha local government, whose excellent academic performance the senator said, would serve as an exemplary.
“I feel proud that my constituent has set record of academic excellence in a well recognised public univer abroad and that which will be of unmeasurable value to Maiha local government, to the northern senatorial distinct, to Adamawa state and indeed to Nigeria as a whole.
“I congratulate the parents for having such a wonderful academic star that shines the state,” SIA said.
SIA has called on the Nigerian students abroad to be good ambassadors of the country as he urged those within the country to concentrate on their studies and to stay away from drugs and hooliganism.
