Adamawa APC Chairman Gets Court Order Restraining Coupist From Parading Himself As Acting Party Chairman

The scale seems to be sliding against the group who are alleged to have been sponsored to create dissension between and among APC members in Adamawa state; taking the impeachment of the party chairman, Hon Ibrahim Bilal, on bogus allegations as their first step.

Some political pundits are of the view that it has something to do with scuttling the efforts of the APC Adamawa governorship candidate heading rather confidently to Dougirei Hill, the seat of the state’s government, referred to as the government house.

Whether or not the view holds water, it is however reported that an order of interim injunctions was given to the Adamawa legitimately elected All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal to remain the party’s substantive Chairman.

Bilal has challenged Samaila Tadashi as 1st defendant, with 14 others before the law, over what he considered as unlawful impeachment, brought under a motion ex parte, restraining the 1st defendant from parading himself as the Adamawa APC Chairman.

The order, which was granted by Justice Usman Musa was brought under order 10 rule 7 of the Adamawa High Court.

The case was adjourned to September 14, 2022, for hearing.
