Adamawa State Government has constituted an 8 man mediation and arbitration committee to address the land dispute between Dangote sugar plantation and the communities of Numan and Shelleng local government areas.
SSG, Awwal D. Tukur Esq, inaugurated the committee led by Malam Usman Suleiman Pallam with other members as follows:
Murtala Alfa Belel Esq. from the Ministry of Justice
Dr. Ibrahim Bayaso from the Ministry of Agriculture
Jonah Kefas representing Land and Survey
Hon. Christopher Sofore, former Chairman Numan LGA
Hon. Abubakar Musa Abba, former Chairman Shelleng LGA Mal. Yahaya Adamu from the State Boundary Commission Abubakar Ibrahim Jimeta from the Political Department, SSG’s Office.
