The Police/Community Engagement to Crime Fighting strategies initiated by Adamawa State Police Command has extended to Hong, Gombi and Song local government areas.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola has had interactions with Council Chairmen, Sister Security Agencies, Community Leaders, Tabbital Pulaku/Miyetti Allah Associations, Leaders of Vigilantes/Hunters and other critical stakeholders on the need to key into the designed Crime Fighting Strategy.
The CP charged all Police Officers and other officers with the law enforcement agency to shun corrupt practices and maintain the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) of the Force and other extant laws guiding their overall conduct .
The CP warned that any police officer found acting contrary to their oaths of office or behaving in a way and manner that contradicts the laws of the land would be strictly and personally held liable.
In their remarks, the Council Chairmen, represented by the ALGON Chairman Hon. Gidado Abdulsalam, Commended the Commissioner of Police for the laudable and innovative strategies, promised to join hands in dealing with perpetrators of crimes.
The CP was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Morris Dankombo, Commander 14 PMF Yola, Area Commander Yola and other senior police officers.
