An act presented to be considered as uncritically, rather seemingly mishandled unconscious bias that keeps accommodating the executive undue delay in approving the appointment, as courts declared, of the Emirate Council selected and recommended district head of Jalingo-Maiha is brewing rather schematic scene, typical of defective cinema, using the court, derobed of the law, aimed at deception for diversion.
The disgraced before the law, pseudo cooperative society, referred to as Nzayi youth concern cooperative society is reported to have filed an appeal against the judgement passed by a Yola High Court, “over a case earlier filed in Mubi High Court, challenging the authority of the Emirate Council, the State Governor, the Attorney General, the state legislators, the candidates and the constitutionality or legitimacy of the nomination and selection of the district head of Jalingo-Maiha, Maiha local government, northern senatorial district of Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria.
The appeal, a sage in Maiha would explain, “amounts to a rather obnoxious attempt to further extend the undue executive delay in approving the appointment of the legitimate district head of Jalingo-Maiha.
“The advocates against the monarchical legitimacy are not even indigenes of Jalingo-Maiha district. They are tribal mercenaries against the ruling family.
“They conceived that the appeal however pointless, as in previous experience, would lead to further suspension of governor’s approval of appointment of the legitimate district head”.
The group in antagonism against the ruling family claimed that “they have associates close to the corridors of power that would take over the case, facilitate executive denial of approval of the district head appointment”.
When contacted, the ruling family would say that patience is the answer and that they as a family would have no need joining words with the insignificant aliens.
The ruling family has been patient, waiting for the state governor to honour the courts order for over a year after the determination of the appeal court.
