Dear Hon. Nasiru Hammajoda,
I trust you are fine. I write this note to humbly congratulate you. In spite of the fact that my congratulatory message is rather coming late. I seldom talk about politics and polity, especially in our local government due to some reason. However, I believe you have all it takes to be a good leader.
I have read a lot of citations, accolades and encomiums about you, even though I never have a face-to-face interaction with you in my life, it tells enough about your persona.
In view of the above therefore, Mr. Chairman – (sole administrator), it’s not early for you to start working on your legacy, for people are judgemental. I intend not to talk about your predecessor, who has nothing impressive to write home about. I don’t celebrate mediocrity. So, I am not here to castigate, backstab or backlash him. Far from it.
Having said that, Mr. Chairman, you need not to be told that, Jimeta is the most complicated local government. Administratively speaking, your staff welfare, masses-driven projects, sincere respect and/or welfare to the stakeholders and electorates should be your prime priority. Is good to be good. Again, need-assessment and feedback-mechanism are essential. Always prioritize the felt-needs of your people than any other thing. With that, you’re good to go!
Ultimately, let me single-out sanitation exercise. Mr. Chairman, seriously, some places in Jimeta are becoming eyesore due to the heap of refuse here and there.
You can employ cleaners to take charge of it. Invariably, the level of poverty and redundancy will undoubtedly reduce to the bearest minimum if not completely addressed.
While I pray for your hitch-free, three-month tenure in office, I equally pray for you to play your card accordingly.
Congratulations once again.
