The National President of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, Comrade Mohammed Haruna Ibrahim, a.k.a Mahib has felicitated with members and Nigerians on the occasion of Eid El-Fitr, wishing for a successful celebration without hitches as it coincided with the workers day celebration.
Mahib has equally congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of Ramadan, described as a hallmark of sacrifice.
Mahib has called on the Ummah not to relent in their services to Allah SWT and to work the teachings of the blessed month throughout lifetime.
Mahib has pointed out that with the fear of God, industrial actions would not be necessary, because political will in the implementation of justice, giving workers their dues with fairness and empathy would being asked for as it used to be, would have been the leadership compass.
“No one is happy with the industrial actions in tertiary institutions. It indeed affects the quality of education. This is a period to be devoted to prayers to bring an end to factors that contribute to industrial actions”, Mahib said.
“May our supplications in the blessed month be accepted. May we experience peace and prosperity in our lives, progress and development in our country”.
