The Labour Party, LP gubernatorial candidate in Adamawa state, Alhaji Umar Mustapha Madawaki, a.k.a Otumba of Ekiti has commiserated with the people of Adamawa in particular and Nigeria as a whole over the death of the veteran journalist, Chief Timawus Mathias.
Otumba in a press release Friday, lamented that the death of Mathias was an irreparable loss to the Bahama traditional council, being the spokesman, to the media industry as a professional, teacher and consultant, to the government and people of Adamawa state and Nigeria in general.
“We loved him but God loves him most, especially at this time that he would have to go, serving as a reminder that we’re all strangers and shall surely return home one day,” Otumba sermonised.
He prayed for the family to be granted the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
