Adamawa civil servants have collectively in their representation greeted the appointment of Pharm. Shehu Isa Ardo as the new head of state civil Service with commendation.
It would be a great expectation to the Permanent Secretary Pharmacist Ardo who would have moved from the State Planning Commission to take over as the new ministry of health overseer, the upgraded executive directive that he should take over from Edgar Amos, the Veterinary Doctor who would assume a new political appointment as the new Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Cool headed, light-hearted, pure-minded and impartial-spirited Ardo is described as one befitting to head the state civil service, which he appreciated by thanking Almighty God and the Governor for the opportunity to serve, where he solicited for the support and cooperation of the good and promising civil servants.
Some of the workers the Periscope Global interviewed said “There’re worries, partiality feelings; suppression and alienation, which were nursed in silent prayers, ABC staff would however have to bring their misgivings to the public by means of protest; whether or not the public service discomforts are established, it is hoped that the new head of service would consider a holistic, impartial system study and review for possible redress with a view to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in workplaces.
“The head of service is the appointment that would stand whichever government, whosoever the court of law would eventually decide as the legitimate elected governor of the state because it is considered as a career progression much more than a political appointment that comes with every change of government.
“Dr Edgar Amos Sunday was appointed head of service by the former Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla, a.k.a Bindow and was retained for the full four-tenure of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, a.k.a ATM, Fresh Air, before the appointment of the the new head of service”.
