* What happened to the security men changed with the responsibility of safeguarding the storehouses?
* Are there no security operatives safeguarding the state co-operative society storehouse as much as the Sangere Silos?
* Is there a form of conspiracy using hoodlums for a kind of cover up?
Strategic thinking youths in Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria, were commended for their courage and commitment in protecting the state by suppressing the #EndSARS protests, some days previously, lest it degenerate into full blown riot for a near anarchy, exemplified by experiences with other states.
However, the strategic thinking youths would not totally defend the state from the activities of the hoodlums who are out to loot from the public storehouse. Could they be taken unaware?
After looting the Kwanarwaya Sangere public Silos, along Numan road, the same or other coordinated group of hoodlums moved to the state co-operative society storehouse, Bakin Kogi, Clerk Quarters, Jimeta, Yola north local government, broke and looted as well.
The hoodlums, some of them in vehicles, some in tricycles and others on foot, have carted away food commodities such as grains and vegetables oil after breaking the storehouse.
One of the hoodlums in a Hilux vehicle was heard shouting that they were not thieves. They were freedom fighters who know how to take back what were meant for them but denied them.
“These are Covid-19 food commodities meant to be shared as palliative but that targeted for diversion. We simply help ourselves with what genuinely belong to us,” he was heard saying at the top of his voice.
Some of the onlookers, having sensed the insecurity, decided to take to their heels away from the looting scene.
The Periscope tried to have the police side of the story to the incident at the state co-operative society storehouse. However, the line of the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sulaiman Yahaya Nguroje has been so busy, he however was able to respond to the text message.
“Police are deployed to ensure that no live is lost. Meanwhile, investigation is ongoing to detect the hoodlums for possible arrest and prosecution,” Nguroje Though
In the previous interview, Nguroje assured that police was out to maintain law and order and to bring to an end the activities of hoodlums in the state.

“Are there no security operatives safeguarding the state co-operative society storehouse as much as the Sangere Silos?
“Is there a form of conspiracy using hoodlums for a kind of cover up?”
These were questions put forward begging for answers and that which only investigation can get to reveal the hoodlum-a-za-tion of Yola.
Meanwhile, the Adamawa state government has imposed a 24-hour curfew, banning vehicular movements starting from 3pm, today, Sunday 25th, 2020, indefinitely too.
This is the right time for a house to house search operation to fish out the hoodlums and recover the looted food commodities.
