The Chief Medical Director, University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, UMTH, Borno state, Northeast Nigeria, Prof Ahmed Ahidjo has bagged the National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) Award.
According to the press statement Friday, issued by the Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations of the health facility, Mr Justin Anaso, “the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the conferment of the National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) Award on the Chief Medical Director, University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Professor Ahmed Ahidjo.
“The Award is in recognition of his high productivity, hardwork, excellence and landmark development in the hospital.
“The conferment ceremony, which would be chaired by the President, is scheduled for the 12th of May, 2022 at the Banquet Hall, State House, Asokoro, Abuja by 9:00am Prompt.
“The CMD appreciates all distinguished stakeholders for their numerous contributions to the development of the Hospital”.
