The pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Malam Nuhu Ribadu has registered his condolences to the former vice president, the Waziri Adamawa Atiku Abubakar and the entire Kojoli family over the death of Abdullahi Nyako.
Abdullahi Nyako who was the principal private secretary to former vice president Atiku Abubakar died three days ago in Dubai.
In a press statement, Ribadu lamented that he has lost a reliable friend and a trustworthy ally with whom he enjoyed decades of solid relationship.
Ribadu noted that Nyako was a fine gentleman and an embodiment of hard work, dedication and loyalty to both his principal and friends.
“Nyako is a dutiful and loyal aide to his principal, a dotting family man, a dedicated and committed friend and a gentleman in the true sense of the word.
“The death of this fine gentleman has cast a veil of sadness on all of us who are in one way or the other touched by his robust spiritedness and compassion.
“Once again, I would like to express my profound condolences to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, Kojoli family and friends of the late Nyako over this great loss.
“But I take solace in the fact that Nyako has left indelible footprints in the sands of time. He will continue to be deeply ingrained in our minds because of the way he touched our lives in numerous ways.
“May Allah in his infinite mercies make Jannatul Firdausi his final resting place,” Ribadu said.
