…Only the guilty of polling fraud that will not submit to election results review using iREV, would insist on violence by deploying thugs to frustrate the exercise – Otunba
The Pro Binani APC in Adamawa state, the duly recognised by the national leadership of the party against the APDP coinage, given to those who claim to be APC members but are assiduously working either overtly or covertly against the APC governorship candidate, for the PDP, has responded to the Adamawa Fintiri PDP’s standpoint that the party would not condone rigging and violence during the supplementary elections in the state, slated for Saturday.
Represented by Comrade Ahmed Sajoh while speaking with the Periscope Global political correspondent, the Pro Binani APC responded that those who would not condone rigging and violence should not be found deeply in the intercouse with the democratically disgusting act, adding that it is only the guilty of the polling fraud, for instance, who would not submit to election results review using iRE by the INEC.
There was no polling unit or local government area where INEC declared victory to the APC governorship candidate that recorded rigging or any form of thuggish activity, the PDP would have lay claims, perhaps called for results review using iREV, the same way the APC governorship candidate, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a Binani has insisted that election results in 16 local government areas of the state must be subjected to review using iREV, following ballot box snatching and stuffing, results swapping, rigging, announcement of doctored results by intimidated and humiliated returning officer under duress and some pockets of violence, which Governor Fintiri and groups against transparency would hold otherwise as unnecessary the review, while accommodating only the thought of supplementary elections.
The iREV review, Ahmed Sajoh’s optimism would reveal, would bring down the obnoxious scores of the PDP as much as it would raise the scores of the APC governorship candidate with a realistic landslide merging such that it would amount to being unnecessary conducting supplementary elections.
“When the Fintiri led government assemble the miserably rented thugs in the state capital from across the local government areas they could source the bamboozled youth bereft of ambition to occupy the INEC office, what kind of violence free election is the PDP advocating for, even though the Governor is the state’s chief security officer?
“However, the call is even unnecessary since at the stakeholders meeting convened by INEC in Yola yesterday, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, in the state, Barr Haruna Hudu Ari asured free and fair, credible and acceptable rerun elections in a violence free atmosphere to be provided by sufficient and uncompromising security operatives, enough to prevent INEC officials from being lynched and bundled with heinous cuelty to a crime scene away from the collation centre to announce doctored results under duress typical of the Fufore-executive-tyranny, enough to secure the safety of the electorate in the blessed month of Ramadan, in God’s name,” Alhaji Umar Mustapha Madawaki, a.k.a Otunba of Ekiti, who’s given the slogan “Chanja Shi Otumba,” would observe.
