The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, will deliver, on at noon on Monday, judgment on the appeal filed by the APC governorship candidate candidate, Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a Binani, challenging the verdict of the Adamawa State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal that dismissed her case and affirmed the second Declaration, by INEC, of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, a.k.a Fresh Air, as the winner of the governorship election in the state, after Binani was earlier declared winner by the State Resident Electoral Commissioner based on what he observed as an attempt to shortchange the APC candidate.
The Court of Appeal, it is gathered, has already communicated the judgment date in a notice to lawyers representing the parties to the case.
It’s said that while the hopeful supporters in both parties debate what they conceive will make their candidates attain victory, while some key actors are jittery about the outcome of the Appeal Court judgment, Binani, who is generally referred to as the Governor-In-Waiting remains relaxed, calming tempers, strengthening the atmosphere of hope with her spirit of generosity, trying to bring the citizenry out of poverty by providing what to eat and not denying them the means to cook.
