The Commander 23 Armoured Brigade, Brigadier General Paul Zawaya has assured the Chief Medical Director (CMD) Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, MAUTH Yola, Prof. Adamu Bakari Girei of a continued mutual relationship.
Zawaya stated this Tuesday during a courtesy visit paid to him by the hospital management at the Headquarters 23 Armoured Brigade, Gibson Jalo Cantonment Yola, Adamawa state
Zawaya commended the hospital for attending to health cases from the Brigade promptly overtime, where he thereby assured the CMD of the Brigades’ continued support to the Health facility whenever the need arises.
Zawaya urged the management of the hospital to quickly inform the Brigade of any security threat that could disrupt the peace of the institution and the state.
Earlier, the CMD of the Teaching Hospital, Prof Adamu Bakari Girei explained that the management team were in Brigade to introduce the new leadership of the hospital
The CMD appreciated the efforts of the Brigade in ensuring peace and tranquility in Adamawa state and ultimately the continued existence of the hospital.
Prof Bakari commended the troops of the Brigade and the Nigerian Army at large for their unalloyed loyalty and sacrifices in a bid to ensure security stability and peaceful coexistence of the Nation.
Prof Bakari has assured the Brigade Commander of the hospital’s support and continued cooperation.
Present at the event were Chief of Staff HQ 23 Brigade Col IJ Etuk, staff officers of HQ 23 Brigade and entourage of the Chief Medical Director, Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital.
The event was climaxed by the signing of a visitor’s book, presentation of memento and group photograph.
