Ramadhan: Fintiri felicitates with the faithfuls

In joining the global call, the Muslim in Nigerian begin the Ramadhan fasting today. To that effect, the Adamawa State Governor-Elect Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has congratulated Muslims across the state, the country and beyond for the commencement of the fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan.
A statement released by the New Media Aid to the Governor-Elect Muhammad B.Tukur, obtained by the Periscope Global Monday, Rt. Hon. Umaru Fintiri felicitated with Muslims in Adamawa and beyond for embarking on the important act of worship in Islam.
The Governor-Elect reminded the faithfuls that Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam and every sane and healthy adult Muslim is expected to fast the whole month for abundant reward from Allah SWT.
Fintiri enjoined Muslims to rededicate themselves throughout the holy month in complete submission to their Creator with intensive prayers and supplications to be able to reap the spiritual and physical benefits inherent in the month.
Fintiri also urged Ummah across the state to use the period for sober reflection and advised them to assist the needy and other vulnerable people in the society for bountiful blessings from Allah SWT and for unity, peace and progress and development of Adamawa state irrespective of tribe or religion.
Fintiri finally, wished the Muslim Ummah a successful Ramadhan Fast and solicited for fervent prayers during the Holy Month for the success of the incoming administration.
