The blessed visitor is preparing to leave.
The holy month, full of blessings, is about being over.
It is already, for this year, over.
Someone would observe, about abstinence in the month of peace and prayers.
A month that introduces Islamic faith to the world as the seal of all religions
A month in which the noble Qur’an is revealed and the Prophet; Muhammad SAW is presented as the universal and the seal of all prophets.
It is indeed a month of annual budget as scholars would teach.
The farewell lies in the Eid El-Fitr supplication and celebration.
However, the sacrifice in abstinence from food, drink, sex, obscenities and the adherence to peace, patience, perseverance, sympathy, supplications, love, mutual coexistence, collective undertaking in strengthening faith, societal reorientation and Qur’anic recitation that come along, should not go with Ramadan the blessed visitor, leaving the community empty of blessed treasure.
The Honourable Chairman, Maiha local government, northern senatorial district of Adamawa state, Northeast Nigeria, Dr. Idi Ali Amin felicitates with the Muslim Ummah for successfully completing the third of the five pillars of Islam; fasting in the month of Ramadan. The month in which is a “night of power” that is worth more than a thousand nights.
Tomorrow is declared, Eid El-Fitr, which marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Hon. Idi Amin wishes that entire Ummah have benefitted from the blessings associated with the acceptable fasting, patience and prayers.
While people are not to congregate for Eid prayers due to the global pandemic, Hon Idi calls on the Ummah who are to supplicate in a controlled congregation in various Jumu’at Mosques, to pray for peace and progress of the country as they pray against Covid-19 pandemic so that life will be returned to normal.
Idi invite the Christian faithful to do the same tomorrow being Sunday.
Idi cautions the celebrating Ummah not to be carried away against wearing of face mask while in public and observing physical distancing, among other covid-19 containment protocols as this remains a collective undertaking
Happy Eid El-Fitr from the Chairman Maiha local government, Hon. Idi Amin.
