Gov Fintiri appoints Buba as GM APL

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has approved the appointment of Malam Danjuma Buba as the General Manager, Adamawa Press Limited, APL, Publishers of the Scope Newspaper.

Until his appointment, Buba was serving rather probationary as the acting GM and his performance is by the Periscope Global Publishers’ assessment, strikingly excellent.

In a letter signed by the secretary to the state government, Engr. Bashiru Ahmad, Buba’s appointment takes effect from 7th July 2020.

“This appointment is purely based on merit and your tracks record of hard work, humility, and diligence in the discharge of your official assignment,” the letter read in part.

Buba joined journalistic carrier with APL over two decades ago as a cartoonist. He grew in capacity and capability, innocence and experience, diligent and dedication to assigned responsibility, to a high position as production manager before his present appointment.

The Periscope publishers, having congratulated Malam Danjuma Buba, commended the commissioner of information and strategy, Dr. Umar Garba Pella for having a worthy and committed personality noted for integrity and creativity as the new General Manager of APL
