…A serious leader isn’t and entertainer, he’s entertained. That’s why the king doesn’t make a court jester…

Imagine former Governor Boni Haruna, or former Governor Murtala Hammanyero Nyako entertaining the electorates the hip-hop way at Mahmud Ribadu Square, rather than being entertained.
Imagine the Governor-In-Waiting organising a music concert with her actively participating in the dance of the hip-hop night at the venue she is being denied the use thereof for her governorship flag off rally, could she be relied upon?
Different strokes, one would say of the two experiences at Mahmud Ribadu Square, with the immediate past and the present Adamawa state governors, Kamaludden Sani would artistically, rather painstakingly paint what he would point as painful scenarios where electorates as taxpayers, particularly in rural areas, though in democratic setting, are not consulted before what Yunusa Abubakar would be pleased to refer to as “political hip-hop entertainment in the face of biting economic challenges that require supplication deploying for divine intervention for posterity rather than austerity, coordinated by those in authority.
“We asked why our great state, sound of morality and serene for knowledge beyond scholarsticism woud be reduced to a republic of hip-hop?
“We condenmed former governor Bindow for connecting the state with Kannywood artists, arguing that our youth, who are in the majority, would to acquire proper and sound knowledge, the same way they would need to be acquainted with the skills acquisitions aimed at selfreliance, setting stage for entrepreneurial state and spirit, Caleb would call, “the Nyako dream.
“The present governor Fintiri is celebrated for celebrating with the hip-hop, the New Year. According to a media report, Adamawa state has unquestionably been transformed from a dull place into a dynamic one by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
“The governor has modified and diversified the stories surrounding the adage that “all work and no play makes Jack a dull kid,” which is far from governance and infrastructure development.
“From organizing the New Year’s countdown to the annual end-of-year gala. For the residents of Adamawa, the two festivals are relatively new because previous administrations have never arranged them. Another media captured Fintiri on the stage dancing.”
Sani would say that “you see, we accused Bindow of celebrating with the Kannywood stars at Ribadu Square, while they excused Fintiri for celebrating with the Hip-hop at Ribadu Square”.
However, the duo, Sani would say, appeared from all intents and purposes as men in politics myriapods, rulled concurrently by contingency, negation and finitude, which could be said to have been applied to the incommensurability of their contexts to compassion for which the courageous amazon could be said to have cashed in for a popular electorates generic support.
