It is better to ignore critical reports if credibility to the response would not be brilliant persuasion than remain in the realm of obnoxious fallacy that seems annoyingly so unconvincing.
Earlier, while responding to the MGMtimes online, in a telephone conversation, Mr Solomon Kumangar, the lead communications and media relations aide to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, a.k.a Fresh Air, has denied that his principal has denied the APC governorship candidate the use of Mahmud Ribadu Square for her flag off campaign.
Similarly, just a while ago, the Adamawa state governor in a press release issued by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou explained that the APC governorship candidate’s request to use Mahmud Ribadu Square for her flag off campaign could not be granted because it was under renovation preparatory to the APC Presidential Campaign Rally that would be blessed with the attendance of President Muhammadu Buhari on the 18th of the month.
According to political pundits, persuasion hasn’t taken place because the message, even though having plural interpretations as understood, the believability is questionable; testing the conscience of the electorates.
“Why should the renovation have to take place at this material time?
“When did the renovation start, before or after 1st January, 2023 and/or whether or not it was suspended to allow the New Year gathering of the hip-hops granted the use of the venue.
“It’s about 9 days between January 9 and January 18, what is it that would not call for the suspension of the renovation to be continued after the Binani rally with a view to clear all doubts?
“Besides, arrangements and/or decorations of the venue remain the sole responsibility of the political party renting the venue, not the state government,” an electorate Simon philemon would argue.

Politics with bitterness is not the way to go. All political parties must be given a level playing ground for their activities, particularly campaign flag off. As a member of PDP, I advise we eschew things that portrays our party as intolerant organisation.
